Dato’ Ooi Sang Kuang is currently the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Malaysian Electronic Clearing Corporation Sdn Bhd (MyClear), Cagamas Holdings and Cagamas Berhad.

Ooi is also an independent non-executive Director at OverseaChinese Banking Corporation Limited, OCBC Bank (Malaysia) Berhad and Great Eastern Life Assurance (Malaysia) Berhad. Dato’ Ooi served as Deputy Governor of Bank Negara Malaysia from June 2002 to June 2010. He was Special Adviser of Bank Negara Malaysia from July 2010 to December 2011.
